The Answer Illuminated: Book II

“I’ve had the most unusual experience,” she announced, “and I must tell someone about it, and quite honestly, you are the only person I know who can hear this without presuming the worst about me.” …………. ‘I think this setting is what some people refer to as a thin place. When you are here, and I don’t mean just here on this plateau, but when you are in this area, things get stirred up inside of you. People, some people, not everyone, but some people have ‘unusual’ experiences when they walk the land. Maybe they hear things, or see things, or feel things, or know things. And even if they don’t immediately understand what is happening, they know from within that something significant is indeed transpiring, and they also know without knowing exactly how they know it that the unfolding process is real and it cannot be denied or ignored.’ He paused again and sighed peacefully. ‘I believe you are one of those people,’ he stated quietly. …………. “So what’s new with you?” she asked as if she already knew. “Dee, is that a casual question or have you tuned into my thoughts?” “I don’t do casual questions. You know that.” Her playful response left me wondering. Dee is a remarkably intuitive individual, and over the years, she and her husband deliberately chose to pursue improving their natural telepathic abilities. It began without notice. One would be thinking something at the same time as the other was focused on the same topic. When they initially realized this was happening, they laughed about it and agreed it was merely a coincidence. But as time passed and the ‘coincidences’ became more evident, they decided to track what was taking place. Eventually, they let go of the idea of coincidences...and decided to actively pursue communication through their inner voice rather than the traditional spoken word. …………. “And what is your calling, Old Friend?” inquired the invisible voice. Without hesitation, the reply was stated succinctly, “I am here to assist The Island in the Sky.” “And are you alone in this Mission of Mercy?” Although the voice from unknown origins knew the answer to this question, the question was necessary nonetheless. “I am not! Many are here from afar and near aiding The Island and its inhabitants. There is reason for hope.” …………. Over the years what I’ve come to understand through my relationship with nature is the intelligence that exists within these life forms. Oh my goodness, Dee! The wisdom and compassion thriving within these beings is unimaginable. And the fact that it goes unnoticed by all but a few is heartbreaking. Such a very small number of people understand the enormity of consciousness that exists within and about this incredible Earth. When will humans wake up?” …………. …the actions of cruelty perpetrated against this planet have been verified and documented by the scientific community and appropriate actions on her behalf are moving forward. However, no explorations of the individual offenses committed daily, minute-by-minute, by one person against another have yet been addressed. We apprise the peoples of Earth about this reality because Mother Earth cannot continue to survive the personal hostilities that humans inflict upon one another. Perhaps your kind is unaware of the effects of your behavior. Perhaps, you do not know that when you offend another person, whether it is by words, thoughts or actions, the negative energy generated by your ill will not only impacts the target of your aggression, but it also affects everyone around you including the planet upon whom you exist. Each spiteful remark made about another is an injury to the Earth’s dignity. Each unkind thought that whirls about in your mind harms her at a cellular level. And each act of violence that you perpetrate against another desecrates her innermost being. This is the truth about the negative energy that ill will produces, and this is the truth of humankind’s role in these acts of destruction. …………. The peoples of Earth must face the truth of their reality! Within each of you lies the ability to assist her back to good health. This is your truth, my friend. You and your kind possess the ability to heal the Earth. Please accept this truth about your existence so that you and all humankind can take the next step in your evolutionary process… Perhaps for some people, this news may be as difficult to accept, as is the tragic news of the Earth’s declining health. Nonetheless, we speak the truth and we ask that you open your heart to the reality of your potential. …………. So many blessings are coming forward as a result of Earth’s crisis. We have learned many truths about our own misbehaviors; and with this knowledge, comes the ability to change and to grow. We have learned about the interconnectedness that exists between our species and many others. We have learned that we are not alone. We have learned that we have friends and companions throughout the universe. And we have learned that we are more than we ever imagined. We have learned with the help of Others that we are beings with an innate ability to heal others. Although we are in the beginning phase of understanding this remarkable natural ability, we are now aware of it, and with this awareness, expansion is possible. We have learned of our potential, and with this knowledge, comes responsibility. The Earth is suffering because of our selfishness and our misguided behaviors and it is our responsibility to correct this tragic situation. We have the means to address the practical matters of her decline and we have the power within us to attend her healing process. This is our truth. We are the answer to her problems. You and I, and all the other members of the human race have the ability to heal the Earth.”
