About the Book

The War of Two Brothers is a collection of poems which were written over a period of the last fifteen consequent years. They were all coined in the wake of EPRDF, which brought identity politics to office and triggered citizens to slaughter each other on the basis of ethnic profile for nothing. It embraces a total of over 150 poems. Most of the poems echo the heartrending torment beleaguered over the entire nation. Some depict the arduous trail the country has been through in the last three decades. Still are some portraying a kind of bottomless adoration a child may have to his mother. All said, the poems are all profoundly penetrating, heart moving, and full of passion. They have quite a lot of sentiment, truth, and esthetics in and around them. If truth be told, the collection is an apparent attempt to help man comeback to common sense and reconcile with himself. The poems are very compelling, fascinating, and enthralling. Some of them echo back even after a long time since they have been delivered to the mind. They pledge the truth that love has no option, whatever.
