Healing and Curing
As a healing channel, you are basically a channel for the light. All healing comes from the universal light. While we all can carry the same light, some channels are clearer and more powerful than others and so the outcome is better.
Even so, the healing is always dependent on the receiver. You could be Jesus or Buddha channeling great healing light but if the person wants to stay sick, they will. Free will decides how much change occurs. Always remember, we are not the healer. We are only the channel. It will keep you grounded and less involved with ego. I struggled with some poor responses to the healing work until I began to understand my part. We are only responsible for the energy exchange. The person holds all the answers, and it is always their choice. Never take responsibility for the outcome. Remember, we live in the world of free will.
Of course, positive healings are uplifting. After all that time and effort it seems to make the whole thing worthwhile. Mission accomplished. However, people are curious beings. Many people may choose to revert to their previous aural pattern soon after the healing. I noticed that when some clients left my place, all their chakras were spinning correctly, yet by the time they reached home, they had reset their aura. If I had asked them whether they had received the healing, the answer would have been yes, but I knew otherwise. I think some people needed the old pattern to be able to function in their current world.
Curing is more complicated than healing because it has to operate on a very deep level. We can cure ourselves if given the skills and right intention. Curing means digging deep and facing the real issues underpinning the illness. It means having to “feel” your way out and this can be very painful emotionally. So, most people stick to healing the symptoms without addressing the underlying cause. A skilled healer can assist in curing us when we are aligned with the same purpose. Still, while he or she can help with the energetic shifts, we will have to be willing to make the necessary changes in our life.
Some changes may be to do with our diet and exercise habits because on a physical level the body will need to be clearing too. Nutritious foods and cleansing herbs will assist us.
Emotional blocks will have to be faced and worked through. Often, the problem originates from these very blocks. We might have to release them and feel the fear, anger and hurt. In the process, there can be anxious and angry days while the emotions surface. It would be good not to feel all those awful pains, but without expression, they can’t always be cleared from our aura.
On some levels, we may not want to let them go, for after decades of carrying them, we can feel naked and vulnerable without them. Anger can make us feel strong, fear can keep us in a safe place as it blocks progress, and hurt can keep us attached to the persons responsible. To let go is challenging.
Mentally, we may hold thought patterns that have made us ill. Honestly, altering the way we think is very difficult. Deep-rooted habits take time to change. Maybe we have been thinking in these ways for years, maybe even lifetimes. At times, we can have trouble recognizing negative thoughts. They have protected us and been part of our lives for so long that we no longer see them.
Added to this is the spiritual component to curing. Typically, the illness is firmly rooted in some spiritual lesson. It may be forgiveness, acceptance or balancing karma. An insight for us will be our initial resistance to change. We may not want to forgive someone who has wronged us. We may not want to face a poor marriage and leave. We may not want to tackle our inner soul’s yearning. Lack of creative expression is frequently involved in serious illness, the slow death of an unfulfilled soul. Our soul needs expression to be healthy, and so any block around this expression can hinder our progress. If you are creative, your soul will need expression to keep you well.
Tackling all these levels is our only hope of cure. No one can do it for us. For it comes from deep within. The cure lies in the soul. Sickness is an opportunity for growth and understanding. On occasions, its terminal quality becomes a vehicle for the journey to the next dimension.
Not curing it is not a failure. It is merely a lesson for the soul. Never criticize others or yourself for not being cured. Perhaps the soul’s intention had nothing to do with curing, but all hinged on learning.
Our spiritual intentions
Once we embark upon this work as a channel, our intention becomes extremely significant, because it can advance our healing and channeling capacity. Our intention is the basic belief system we use when working. With trust and faith, much more can be sourced through us. With these two elements, Spirit can move heaven and earth, for we are not bound on the earth plane. Trust and faith mean we are part of the process, but not in charge. We trust whatever our guardians say or do, for trust allows the light to flow through our aura evenly and at a higher rate. Of course, we are the messengers, and as such, there are areas that we become responsible for. However, for the most part, Spirit is in command.
Keep in mind that doubt blocks energetic flow and can bring our vibrational rate down. It is human to doubt, but when working in this realm it has no place. Once doubt seeps in, it can alter the outcome. When we work with Spirit, our intention needs to be as clear as possible. I ask for the right light, guidance and healing for the person who I am working with. By giving over to a greater power, I know the work will be perfect for this time and space.
We are never the healer or reader. We are always the instrument. As such, let Spirit choose the song to play through us.
If ego gets in the way, we will be trying to run the show. Whenever we work with Spirit in this manner, all kinds of things can go wrong. Ego will keep us in the lower vibrations and being unable to channel a high vibration, the work coming through will be compromised.
I always aim for the highest guidance and healing. Why work in lower dimensions? Aim for the greatest vibration your aura can access. Ask for the best healers to work with you. In my healings, I ask for particular doctors to attend and assist in the healings. We can ask for emotional healers who will channel wise and comforting words. Herbalists can be called in to give advice on beneficial plant medicines the person can use. There have been some sessions in which people felt chiropractic work being done on them.
When there is a tough case to work on, ask for extra help and guidance. Remember, that if needed, spiritual surgery can be done. I feel we have to be quite skilled to work with Spirit in these situations. It usually involves a good working relationship with our guides. Healers capable of doing this type of surgery have to be in tune and very obedient. Some healers are doing these precise surgeries without realizing it because their guardians have already established a clear and workable arrangement. I was told I had previously performed these procedures before the human part of me was aware of it.
Work with the intention to raise your vibration and, in doing so, you will ascend. Intend to be a clear and open channel, a pure interface between our dimension and Spirit, and to work in a realm full of love and light.
