About the Book

The Pet Owners Guide to Emergency Veterinary Care is a Candid and Honest Discussion of what the author considers predatory veterinary practices and how to avoid them. Although there are many honest and compassionate Veterinarians with the upmost integrity that will not take advantage of a pet owner, terrified at the thought of loosing a beloved pet, there are others that will do exactly that. Indeed in many franchise veterinary operations business first over compassion and empathy for the working pay check to pay check family, can lead to both the loss of your pet and a financial crisis. My favorite sentence being “..these are the questions you ask so you don’t end up with a dead dog and a repossessed car”.
