Connect, Lighten and Enlighten
46 Trance Channeled Lessons and 10 Activities
Dear Reader,
The message is loud and clear, whether you hear this on a news
channel or channel this through trance, humans must change.
Fortunately, one thing I have learned from 30 years as a
psychologist in the UK's National Health Service (NHS), is that
change is possible. However, I have also learned, change usually
takes time, effort and a little know how.
Therefore, combining my knowledge and experience gained as
an NHS psychologist with my ability to trance channel, I present
Connect, Lighten and Enlighten. This unique combination of
trance channeled lessons and current evidence-based practice for
behavioral change offers a new companion for anyone trying to
answer the call for change and resonate more with the universe.
I offer 46 trance channeled lessons within 3 sections: Connect,
Lighten and Enlighten. I share the warm encouragement to
disconnect from the business of modern life and the call for balance
with the self, others, nature, and the cosmos. I communicate
explanations on time, the cosmos, divine plans, and free will. I
also share the urgent request to refocus on what is important in
life and convey the warning for humans to use their special gifts
wisely.
To answer the call to action, I also offer two sections of easy to
do activities within Connect, Lighten and Enlighten. I introduce
activities (or rituals) shown to help disconnect from the chatter
of the modern mind, achieve a lightening of the mind / body
and connect with the calm of oneness. I first present an activity
for locating and creating your wellbeing place (sanctuary) before
inviting you to find what works best for you to connect. I finally introduce some well recognized mindfulness practices, and
positive psychology / the psychology of happiness activities to
support you lighten.
Read the lessons and journal alone or work through this
compendium of lessons and activities with another person(s). The
choice is yours. I simply hope Connect, Lighten and Enlighten
provides you with some proven tools to answer the call for change.
With much love and light,

How To Approach This Book
Although I see and feel the urgent need for the oneness of
humanity, I equally appreciate the beauty and importance of
humans’ individuality. Therefore, I recommend you approach
these lessons and activities in your own beautifully individual way.
The trance channeled messages were intentionally channeled as
lessons over consecutive days and the activities were intentionally
linked to the content of the daily lessons. However, this is not
to say the lessons and activities are best approached daily in a
linear and progressive manner. If time allows, try daily lessons
and activities. However, if this is not your preferred learning or
practice style or in fact, life just doesn't currently afford you the
luxury of a daily commitment to wellbeing reading / activities,
then dip into these teachings and exercises when and where you
fancy or when time allows.
Flexible templates for note taking or writing down your findings
for each activity were designed for tracking activities / practice
and for ref lecting on their effect. However, again this is not to
say you must use the templates for documenting your findings. If
writing or journaling does not work for you, or these templates
are not to your liking, then simply use your preferred way of
tracing your activities / practice and contemplating their effect.
Readers who are familiar with clinical psychology, mindfulness
practices, positive psychology and / or the psychology of happiness
may recognize some elements of the following activities. Likewise,
Readers who are familiar with trance channeled messages from the
Light Council, the Arcturians, the Pleiadians and / or the Ascended
Masters may recognize some of the key concepts contained within the following trance channeled lessons. However, I hope Readers
make the most of having trance channeled messages and evidencebased
activities in one place.
I simply hope you will heed the warm encouragement to balance
and lighten and look to the evidence-based practice contained for
your balancing and lightening.

Lighten - Activity 2 – Explore Gratitude (Compile a Gratitude List)
Research shows taking time to experience gratitude improves
wellbeing. Gratitude is a positive emotional state where you notice
and appreciate what you have received in life. Gratitude can really
help you lighten up. The amount of gratitude experienced varies
among individuals. However, the routine practice of compiling
gratitude lists is a great way to bring the experience of gratitude
more into your life.
Explore gratitude by taking 5 minutes to compile one of the
following gratitude lists:
• Write down 5 things from your day for which you are
grateful
• Write down 5 people who have brightened your week
• Write down 5 places that make you feel grateful
• Write down 5 activities that make you see the best in the
world
Use the space below for your gratitude list or try starting a
gratitude journal.

Here are some tips for writing your gratitude list:
• Try to write it while in your wellbeing place (this will
help you avoid distractions)
• Where possible handwrite your gratitude list (this will also
help you avoid distractions created by electronic devices)
• A single word or short sentence is enough
• Focus on the specific details of who, or what, you are
grateful (e.g., Imagine the person, or thing, you are
writing about)
• Don’t worry about spelling and grammar (the list is just
for you)
• Decide on a number of items for your list (e.g., 5) but do
not let this number annoy, daunt, or restrict you
