For the past two decades, my inner light flickered through the fractures of the veil through times of strife. I turned within myself, seeking the truth my soul would whisper to me. The chaotic events were grasping at capturing a glimpse of my inner light and trying to shake her from the deep coma created by society's conformed unresponsiveness. She did not recognize the world; she became imprisoned. If only she knew the repetitive chaos and trauma were shaking her soul, gently demanding her to wake up from her deep unconsciousness. However, she would attempt to expose herself through the cracks of the veil. She would withdraw again due to criticism, distrust, uneasiness and competitiveness her intuitive senses felt from others. The veil disguised what she internally recognized as her soul's yearning for truth. Yet, it exposed what others wanted her to be, an ideological model in a boxed society. She continuously tried to claw herself out of it. Disillusioned by the masculine figures manipulating and crushing her soul's dreams and desires, she felt trapped. Her spirit faded. All that was left was a dull ember glistening amongst the blackness of the charred blackened coal. The last most severe storm arrived, obliterating everything in its path. It somehow ignited the ember of her spirit into a raging fire. Her strength returns with an intense power as she becomes harshly awakened from her unconsciousness. She identifies she was not aware of the gentle shaking from her past experiences and understands she must lose everything for her veil to fall entirely. Her soul has broken free from its restraints and is unbound, wild and limitless, finally living her true path it is at one with the creative source and wisdom of the goddess.
