Love Thy Neighbor

“What unraveled was a new perspective of our world. The trail itself emanates a dim light, but that wasn’t all that I witnessed. The plants glowed as I came near to them. Some were more brilliant than others, but all gave off some level of light. And that marvelous colony of ferns that we are both so smitten with was spectacular. It was as if an entire community switched on their lights for the outsider passing by. I selfishly thought that they recognized me and that this magnificent light display was their way of acknowledging my appreciation for them. I guess that sounds corny, but I do believe the experience was interactive. Even as I continued along the trail, the ferns seemed to be the most exuberant. Their response seemed to be inter-relational. And then, a lovely family of deer came out of a heavily wooded area, and what I witnessed was amazing. As the family of three walked through the area, the plants shimmered, lighting the way for them. The plant life was providing light for all who passed by including a great horned owl who flew high up into that old towering white pine. As she flew upward the branches sparkled, lighting the way for her until she landed comfortably on a large limb. Then the tree dimmed so that the owl was hidden safely by the darkness. It truly was a marvelous sight to behold. This adventure continued from one location to the next until the morning sun took over responsibility for bringing light to the area… What I witnessed was real. The Life Beings of Mother Earth are reaching out to us, trying to remind us that we are not alone. They are here, mutually coexisting with us on this beautiful planet, while we live our lives as if they are insignificant. We are so unaware of our place in existence. We act as if we are the only species that matters on the planet, and that all other species are here for us to use as we please. Our scope of existence is so limited. These Life Beings reached out to me. They initiated the contact, and they were the ones that revealed and demonstrated their abilities. These remarkable Beings want us to know that they are real and vibrant and equally essential to the Earth’s well being. They are already doing everything they can to maintain her health, but they cannot do it alone. They need our help. These different species mutually coexist together. The plant life was graciously assisting the deer and the owl. They do the same for us, but our ignorance and disrespect of their existence make us unable to see the assistance they provide. If we cooperated and joined their efforts to assist the Earth, She would greatly benefit from our contributions, and we would benefit from her improved health… …“My Friends, I come to confirm that which you already know. You are indeed here to assist the Earth in her time of need. Do not fear, Old Friends. Everything that is needed to assist this great Life Being resides within you. Accept the healing powers with which you are endowed and use them wisely. Each particle of your healing energy that you share with the Earth will assist her recovery process. Every prayer that you offer on her behalf will increase her strength and remind her that she is loved and cherished. The healing energy that resides within you has only one purpose. It was created and instilled into every Life Being in existence so that all in existence could assist all others in existence whenever one was in need. All in existence are related to all others in existence. We are all One. This is how existence has always been and will always be. We are of the same Source regardless of our appearance. Because of our heartfelt connection with all others, we accept everyone as Family, and because we are Family, we accept responsibility for caring for one another. One of our own is presently in ill health. The Life Being Earth is loved and cherished by all in existence, and we are most concerned about her failing health. It is essential that we come to her aid. You, Dear Friends, and many, many more are here to rescue her. This is your reason for being, Dear Ones… …You have witnessed the power of sharing one’s experiences with another. With each story told, another experiences the changes that are rapidly occurring around the planet. Life Beings of all kinds are focused upon saving the Earth. Humankind must take part in this process. It is essential! Without their participation, she will not recover. My Friends, the tasks ahead are challenging, but there is reason for hope. The Earth is a remarkable Life Being and she responds well to positive intentions. As you and others like you remind her that she is loved and cherished, her pain will diminish. As you enliven others with your good will and your good intentions, she will be uplifted by your efforts. As you honor and cherish all others, she will grow stronger. The process of healing the Earth is not complex. She is a Life Being that thrives upon peaceful relationships among all her inhabitants. Imagine, Dear Friends, what life would be like on this beautiful planet if every life being graciously respected and accepted the needs of every other Life Being. Some of you feel this is a ridiculous exercise that serves no purpose, but that is not true. In truth, this image is the way life is intended to be. The state of unrest that has been endured for so long is an anomaly: it is not the normal way of being. Living in peace and harmony with all others is the intended way of living. If the people of Earth live in peace, the Earth will continue forevermore. It is that simple. Heal yourselves, and she will be healed."
