Answers that you may have been searching for will start to bubble up into your conscious mind. Listen to the self-talk that emerges. If you weren’t hearing this voice before, it may be surprising to realize how much it has to say. If you were previously aware of it, then you might find that the content starts to shift. You will likely discover an increased sense of clarity around what needs to be addressed. The items that your conscious mind was previously avoiding, but that on some level you knew were there, will become more clear. Maybe it’s a team member who is not working out. Maybe there is a strategic decision that you’ve been avoiding that you know must be made a priority. Or, perhaps you can see clearly that there is a relationship issue with a team member that isn’t overt, but you have always known it was there. Now it’s front and centre and you can address it more easily. Seeing what’s not working can be upsetting and daunting at first, but the clarity pays off in the end because you’re now able to make decisions that need to be made. These issues are not going to resolve themselves if they are ignored or suppressed. The fascinating thing is that by not deliberately thinking about your work, business or life questions and answers that need your attention will surface. Perhaps a creative idea for a new product line or a solution to a challenge that has been affecting your business has moved into you. This channel that you are creating to the true you makes decision-making so much easier. The human brain is both an asset and liability. Our ability to think about every possible variable and all the possible solutions can be a huge liability and can get in the way of sound decision-making. The intellect is a powerful tool, but we can get into the habit of spinning decisions around in our intellect forever, when our true self already knows the decision we want to make. Once we begin to open up the channel to our true selves, access to faster and more effective decision-making is at hand. When you start to make decisions from a place of your personal truth, you will know it. You will make them faster. They will lead to better results. And you will second-guess your decisions much less often.
