Machu Picchu - Waynapicchu
After having visited Machu Picchu on that day, I decided on the challenge to go up to Waynapicchu the next day, together with 6 others from the group. At 7 a.m. we stood in line with all the others who wanted to go up the mountain. 200 people were allowed to go up and another 200 at 10 a.m. As I registered in the list on which all mountaineers are entered, in order to check later, if everybody is back, a song came to my mind: 'Silent garden' from Deva Premal & Miten. Of course, I had no idea what that meant but just kept it in mind. The climb was a huge exertion. Puma, the shaman, was also with us and said, that when we would be almost up on the mountain, then a gift would be waiting for us. Exciting! That kept me going. The further we got up, the more beautiful the view down to Machu Picchu became. Just before the top of the mountain, Puma was waiting with the others. He lead us through a cave entrance, that other people avoided because there was water on the ground. We could see a puma head in the rock inside. There he gave us a puma initiation by blowing Agua Florida over our backs. This is scented water from flowers for shamanic work. He declared us to be Puma Warriors from now on. These are warriors of light and therefore love, he told us. When I finally reached the mountain top, I was looking forward to relax and had in mind, that I would sing the 'Andachtsjodler', the devotional yodeler. But things suddenly changed, as a woman from our group, suddenly got an attack of fear of heights. Puma came over and declared that I could handle it, and off he was. I did not know what to do and sang the 'Andachtsjodler' for her. Somehow she relaxed and was freed of her fear. She felt as if she could fly, and performed the crane exercise from Tai Chi. What a relief! After a short while, we decided to do the descent over the other side, visiting the Moon Temple. Kailash thought that this would be the easier way and closer to Machu Picchu. We found out that this was not true at all, as the Moon Temple is even further down, and then you have to go up again to reach Machu Picchu. Now it was getting really adventurous, over ladders, ropes along the rocks on steel rods etc. Puma kept checking to see if I make it. After long hours we arrived at some caves. Full of interest I stepped into one, but got severe abdominal pain. I asked Puma what kind of cave this is. He said it's the 'sacred womb' and if I had pain, this would be the place to heal it. He told me to go to one of the niches in there. I did and started sobbing for a long time. Eventually, the pain left me. I still have no idea, what this was all about. When I came to the light again, Kailash and Puma had gone a little further to the Temple of the Moon. Puma sang there and 'cleaned' the place, then we were allowed to go inside. He asked us to go to a place that we felt attracted to. I moved to the right, and there I felt a strong energy and started to vibrate and my body swung in the shape of a ligating eight. Puma informed me that this is the place, where you can choose a championship, and especially that it was the place where medicine was made, the location of the teacher plants. I was flabbergasted, because I knew from a medium, that I could choose a championship in Peru, and now I was here at the exact place. The fact that I choose to climb the mountain, and consequently descended to the Temple of the Moon was no accident. I had to go there to choose a championship. I choose the mastery of universal love, the combination of sun and moon, male and female. Then I put my forehead on the medicine place and a flying condor appeared in my inner eye. What an experience!
Sitting outside in the sun on a rock, Puma asked me, if I was interested in a coca leaf reading with him. Yes!!! And in this wonderful place; here I was sitting in the 'Silent Garden'. The song from that morning came up again. Puma had his special oracle coca leaves in a woven cloth and had already spoken prayers into the leaves several times. I had to breathe into it three times and utter my name. Then I was able to ask questions, and he let the leaves trickle through his fingers back onto the cloth. He then gave the answer, according to the formation of the leaves. First he looked at my health and then the private: I should go my way – even if my husband is not ready yet. We are both condors, which means that we love freedom. When asked if I have ever lived here before: Yes, as an Inca priestess. He was very enthusiastic about my future because there would be a special path (his favorite leaf!) for me, and though I still do not know where the road will lead me, I would already be going in the right direction. He thought it was particularly admirable, as some people already know their destination and do not follow it, while I was going on my path, although I did not know where it would lead me.
As an additional payment, I gave him Egyptian frankincense and myrrh oil, and he said that this combination would be the exact smell of Pachamama, Mother Earth. Interesting!
The question haunted me: What did Puma mean with this 'special path' that I was already following? Maybe the path of traveling.
