CHAPTER 1
THE ABSOLUTE
The mind once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas never returns to its original size.

Absolutely Absolute
Dream: The Flying Saucer
A small object about the size of a coffee cup saucer is flying around. I think to fly with it. So, I fly alongside it. Up and down, and all around we fly. Darting here and there. It is like a flying saucer drone. I wonder how it would be to fly with it when it goes to warp speed, and then disappears. Can I follow it then, and where would we end up? I know I will try. But maybe I’m not ready, and then I wake up.
The Absolute is a pure and unquestionable principle. It is absolute power. What would it be like to jump on that flying saucer drone?
There are no if, ands, or buts in the Absolute. It is everywhere, and a direct line at the same time. It is total awareness with the direct line and focus of intention. The absolute is like being a part of God, and separate at the same time. It is a drop of water recognizing itself while still being in the ocean. We sometimes call this awareness, the sea of awareness, and we are that drop of water.
So how does that drop of water come to have an absolute focus? That is unwavering intent. Our peripheral vision sees the distractions of life, but our intent is steadfast in our choice to walk a direct path. Even if that path seems to be wandering and not so direct.
No Matter What
We live our lives going in a certain direction. No matter what. Things pop up to try to stop us. Or are they just the scenery that we wave to in acknowledgment as we drive by on the freeway? “No matter what” is such a funny phrase. Matter has substance but when we say, no matter, that thing has no substance. So, nothing of substance stops us. We simply go on our way.
Absolute through the Aspects
I have chosen Absolute Joy as my path. Or has it chosen me? When it is absolute, there is no separation between the path and the walker on the path. What we walk is a reflection of us and who we are. What you see is what you think about whether you intend to think about it or not.
Consciousness is being aware of what you are thinking. If you don’t want to think it, then change your thought, and choose what you do want to think. I choose to think and feel Joy. So, if I find that my thoughts are not in alignment with Joy, then I change my alignment by changing my thoughts, and I put myself back on my chosen path. How I go about doing this is the subject matter of this book, Absolute Joy. The Absolute is about allowance, totality, and unconditionality.
Absolute Peace is about total allowance, quiet, and harmony. Absolute Love is about unconditional love and total allowance. Absolute Abundance is about the realization that it already exists, and the acceptance of the infinite abundance that is already here. Absolute Healing is about stepping into the perfect health that is, and accepting whatever is occurring with your body and mind at the same time. Absolute Gratitude is stepping into the wonder of the world around us and acknowledging it for everything that is happening with the wonder of a little girl skipping on a sidewalk.
Absolute Magic is stepping into the unknown and allowing it to remain unknown. Absolute Co-Creation is not looking left or right, but only looking at the next step on your path. Focus, intention, and awareness at the same time. Absolute Divine Perfection is waiting and accepting the divine right time and the right place for things to occur, and acknowledging that God knows better than we do for what is the next right thing to happen. Absolute Purpose is being aware of our path, acknowledging the path, and walking the path no matter what. Absolute Energy is standing in the primordial soup of infinite possibility that we sometimes call space, and choosing an energy to stand in.
Sacred Technologies of the Absolute are the exercises, techniques, and practices that can bring us home to ourselves where all of the aspects of the absolute reside. I call them sacred because they are connected to God and the Universe. They are the pure and unquestionable principles that allow us to experience life as it flows through us.
Any one of these aspects from Joy to Energy, if practiced and lived absolutely, would lead you to all the others. If you really lived in absolute Joy, you would already be also living in absolute Peace and absolute Love. One cannot live in any of these absolutely without also living in all the others. If you are absolutely any of these aspects, you will also be absolutely all of them. The Absolute is like the flying saucer drone. You would go at warp speed to Joy or Peace, and to all that is.
Interaction of Common Aspects
Each chapter is an aspect of God, or a condition of the Universe or tool that is available to us. They are all also pathways. For this third book, I have chosen twelve of the most common Aspects that most of my students ask questions about or take classes on. To explore how these aspects impact our lives and my own life, I combined the various tools, aspects, and conditions.
