About the Book
‘Twenty, thirty, forty years old and counting’ is a quick read and seeks to identify 15 principles, which, if practiced, will make life so much easier. It looks at adults in this age group who see life changing before them, and who fail to realize that what they have created arose from their own actions, and that they can make changes using these ‘secrets’ mentioned in the book. It is hoped that you, the reader, will go through the examples and explanations several times and as you see the benefits manifesting in your own life, pass on the lessons to others. You will then agree that life truly does not have to be that hard.
About the Author
Joy A Simons Brown is a musician, math tutor living in Jamaica and the author of: • The Joy of Knowing, published in 1993 • Mathematics For Life published 2004, with second edition in 2018 • Sing and Play the Jamaican Way published 2009. Her experience as a retirement scheme administrator and passion for problem solving has led her to observe that, we as human beings have similar challenges. Since many of the issues have remained the same for centuries, she feels that there is no need for every person to suffer to the same degree, and that older people should share their experiences and the valuable information they learned. With this in mind she decided to put pen to paper, and came up with this book.
