HOUSEKEEPING 101

This is self explanatory guideline book of detailed housekeeping, along with pictures for clarification, is geared up for all ages. Newlyweds just starting out with their new home or first baby on the way. Work families with children. People who travel and have no time for much else. Those who own businesses or whose work takes much of their time. Elderly who need assistance with the things they can no longer do. Etc. This book can be bookmarked and left for instructions that will take the guesswork out of trying to tell a housekeeper what is desired at certain times for a customer. The contract option alleviates any discrepancies between customer and housekeeper. It is up to the housekeeper to let the customer know what exactly what they will and will not do. customer and housekeeper will agree on fee paid for each cleaning and or extent of each detail; extra cleaning due to summer time stays; cleaners to be used; adherence to professionalism in all areas; utility accommodations. Agreements on times available for a cleaning; vacation and holiday/s cancellations well in advance; 24 hour cancellation notices for a regular cleaning. Sudden illness should be addressed as soon as anyone feels they may be contagious. Whether or not children are allowed in a customers home if housekeeper does not have a babysitter, should be addressed before the situation arrives. Pet accommodations: some pets will not block certain people. If situations arise that the animal is unfriendly, customer will need to comply with having the animal constrained until housekeeping is finished. Trust is never sharing customer security codes and never allowing someone else to clean in place of the regular housekeeper without customer knowing first. Customer and housekeeper must agree that a commercial cleaning cannot be required in the place of a residential cleaning without consent well in advance. A scheduling list will allow the housekeeper to dress accordingly depending on the detail cleaning that was agreed-upon. Customer and housekeeper should agree on tools needed to make the housekeepers job more efficient, or fee may be different to allow for supplies. Observation of customer/housekeeper body language should allow you to follow your intuition. Clarity and respect goes a long way. There is no gain in earthly treasures. Make treasures in heaven where they are meant to be.
