About the Author
Now Professor Emeritus at Adelphi University, Dr. Sheldon Stoff holds three degrees from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. During his years as educator and spokesperson for Humanistic Education, in correspondence with and inspiration from Dr. Buber, he established the International Center for Studies in Dialogue. He received the Outstanding Educator of America Award in 1974. He is the author of The Two-way Street; The Human Encounter, Vol. 1 and 2; The Pumpkin Quest; Universal Kabbalah: Dawn of a New Consciousness; The Western Book of Crossing Over: Conversations with the Other Side; and co-author with Barbara Smith Stoff, of Conscious Evolution: The Dance of Intuition and Intellect and his last book, The Akashic Field.
