The purpose in love or in loving relationships should not be for the sake of quantification, amassing in large numbers, but to build relationships with friends, companions, and alliances that are healthy, supportive, authentic, and true to our natural capacity to love and exist. An existence that asserts who we are without being overbearing, overpowering, or disruptive to the natural identity of the ones we love. In essence, the quality of our relationships should be based upon genuine connectivity, companionship, and understanding of each other’s differences. It is our unique identities that shape our experiences in life with people, places, and opportunities that are given to us. Brenda L. Turner-Miller earned a master’s degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor of science degree in business. She has spent more than seventeen years as a nonprofit and program management professional, working and volunteering in charitable and community aid organizations. Brenda has two children and resides with her husband in Enterprise,Nevada.
