DARE TO BE Who You Are The word “Success” from Dictionary.com means the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one's goals. Success is a subjective and a relative term in that success means different things for different people. For some the word Success could mean ascertaining a certain financial status, to others it could mean finding the love of their life, and then to some it could mean just living a certain lifestyle or accomplishing a long-awaited event, IE; 90th birthday, or making the Olympic team, success for some could be earning a 6-figure income, for others, IE; a Former President Barack Obama whose success factors included becoming The President of The United States Of America. Success as an indicator moves as we accomplish our goals in life. But, whatever your definition of “Success” is for your personal life you must first define what your desires in life are, and then take the necessary steps to achieve the goals that will lead you to engineering the life you deserve. Dreams Do Come True Can you remember when you were a young child wanting to learn how to ride a bike. Can you remember the fear of possibly falling off the bike and getting hurt? Even our parents were afraid for us and therefore they would put training wheels on the bike to help us balance the bike. But, when those training wheels came off that bike, and we had to attempt riding that bicycle without those training wheels our hearts would pump with excitement, as well as the fear of falling and getting hurt. However, we would not let that deter us from trying. Our desire, passion, faith, and belief, were so strong that it drove us to overcome the fear factor and take the action of attempting to ride that bike until we were successful. Despite the many times, we fell we would re-evaluate, adjust and get back up on that bike and try it again. These same principles that we utilized in our formidable years are the same principles required to live the life you desire.

About the Author
Derrick Fennell was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Wilmington N.C. by his Grandparents who owned and operated a flower shop for over sixty years. His Grandparents were Leaders in the community and taught him the gift of leadership, social responsibility and the importance of community. His Grandparents laid the founding belief and instilled the confidence that as individuals we are the creators of our own destiny. This guiding principle is the cornerstone of the book “You Are the Creator, Seven Powerful Principles to Engineer the Life You Deserve”. He has successfully worked in corporate America for one of the largest computer firms in the world, owned his own Mortgage Company for sixteen years and now travels the world in the Airline industry inspiring and sharing with every one “You are the Creator, Seven Powerful Principles to Engineer the Life You Deserve”..
