We are now living in what many call an “Age of Terror”. Even so, each of us can choose for our short, fragile, mysterious and magical existence to be an intriguing adventure of love, service, wonder and discovery or an anxiety filled nightmare of perpetual retreat. This book is about having the blatant audacity to consciously choose to face the reality of our own mortality as well as the specific fears, demons, and worries most mortals tend to deny rather than proactively confront, defeat, conquer and lay peacefully to rest. Those who are bold enough to allow it into their consciousnesses observe that whether in war or peace, every single day is literally a heroic, majestic, near physical death span of existence with not a single tomorrow promised, while the life of the soul is eternal.

Once this is truly understood and completely accepted, we cease attempting to cling to the elusive safety of mediocrity. We dare to plunge into the foreboding, abysmal pit of the dark sides of our psyches to challenge any savage demons we encounter there. We find that their exaggerated and misperceived strengths are abruptly unmasked and their weaknesses swiftly exposed. We learn that whether we win or whether we lose any of life’s many, inevitable challenges or battles with circumstances with others or with ourselves, that our willingness to participate, struggle and evolve, makes us stronger than we could have ever before imagined, even in our grandest dreams.

We are able to climb the highest of mountains. Then with wildly beating hearts and throats seared dry with scorching horror, we leap from the summit to create our own wings and fulfill our own dreams. We discover that with power and love, we can confront any evil or tyrant, abroad or at home, bear any burden or sorrow, “Tame Any Terror”, and even boldly embrace visions of that final transitional journey when we are destined to fly from the darkness into the light, soar above the earth like eagles on wings of unlimited possibilities, and finally joyfully and adventurously roam the heavens with angels.

I believe this book will inspire and comfort many readers at this time of widespread anxiety. It’s about having the courage to face the fierce reality of our own mortality and yet overcoming all challenges by calling on the vast reservoirs of our spiritual powers. It emphasizes the values of maturity and enlightenment and the importance of having appreciation and total respect for all religions, creeds and life styles on Planet Earth.
