About the Author

Sunyata has been an ordained minister and spiritual counselor since 1980. In 2001, he began studying and practicing neo-Tantric methods of working with sexual energy; including the therapeutic use of sexual energy in healing. Sunyata received his Tantric Healer certification in 2007 through private training sessions with mentor, Carla Tara, who is one of the top educators in the field of Tantra and sexual healing. In 2009, he also became a certified Reiki Master, energy healer. Sunyata’s healing and counseling work are informed and influenced by the body’s subtle energy system as well as his study of the effects of trauma on individuals, relationships, and sex between partners.
