Ted's Fair Dinkum Adventure

Beside a sleepy billabong lived a cockatoo named Ted. Hatching from his gumtree nest near an outback shearers shed. The emus, snakes and wallabies that shared his scrubby home laughed at young Ted's dreaming and his plans to some day roam. He'd heard the tales of Gundaroo, of Yass and Jindabyne. The Murrumbidgee snow gums and Mt Kosciuszko Pine, The long white sands and sparkling reefs, and the oceans deep and blue. And he longed to watch the sun sink down over Uluru.
