Mental vs. Physical Diet
"Take a moment to look around and see the amount of people that are physically out of shape, can barely move, with every type of illness and disease imaginable. Observe how they willingly pass up healthy, nutritious food to eat crap and continue to consume things they know are deteriorating, weakening, poisoning, and destroying their bodies. Now you will begin to see and understand why I compare physical diets to mental diets.
Notice how our resistance and avoidance of positive, motivating, empowering thoughts, knowledge and wisdom and our continued consumption of negative, ridiculous, trashy, draining, and useless thoughts are contributing to the rampant and huge amount of ignorant, stupid, and wrong decisions that we make as we watch them affect our lives and unfold all around us. This is what is causing the emotional, financial, and mental stress we have to endure and live with on a daily basis. - Here's to your health. Enjoy." MBR
We constantly need motivation. Motivation fuels the fire that burns inside you. It forges you as well as the weapons you must have to conquer and overcome your challenges. You have to feed and stoke your fire every day or it will cool down and die. The fire you need to create yourself into the warrior you must be will die along with it! Keep those fires burning.
A Paragon of Life
All things in nature (as well as our lives) are a constant interplay of violent chaos and calm tranquility—yin and yang. We must realize and accept that on the calmest day, in the most tranquil moment, a storm-like disruption and disorder can suddenly appear; we must learn to maintain an inward peace and a clear mind while in the midst of turmoil.
To be at one with this law of yin and yang that is part of all things is necessary to live and enjoy a happy, productive and successful existence.
The Power of Love
Love is a powerful emotion. It transcends what the eyes see; what the mind thinks.
Love is a force usually associated with a bond that connects us to our loved ones or even our pets, but it is a force which can also be applied to your goals, dreams, or aspirations. When you commit your heart and soul to what you want to achieve in life, the feeling of love and passion will fuel you and keep you on course. Love empowers you to conquer, transcend, and defeat obstacles or fears that may get in the way of all that you can manifest in your life. Love yourself first so you can then share and use this force that is part of life in a positive way.
Envision what you seek. Commit to this goal and give it your love and passion. Never waver or let your resolve grow weary and you will reach success.
Choices and Decisions
Life is a constant road of confrontations with choices and decisions. Making tough decisions can be stressful and consuming. You must find the courage to take a leap of faith—even when the consequences may seem vague or unknown. Fear and doubt will keep you in a frozen catatonic state. By not making a decision and bravely accepting responsibility for whatever the outcome, you will guarantee certain failure. You will never discover what could have been. Live life to the fullest or die trying.
Success in Failure
If you can accept and appreciate the duality of life—the positive and negative aspect of every incident and occurrence you experience—you will see that even in failure there is success. The Product of Your Thoughts
We are not subject or slaves to our circumstances and environment. Everything you have accomplished, acquired, and experienced as well as everything you have failed at, lost, and suffered through were a product of your thoughts and daily behavior. Your deepest thoughts and beliefs can, do, and will create your circumstances and mold your environment.
You possess the ability to master your thoughts and beliefs. Whatever you create in your mind, think of consistently, hold true to in your heart, and follow up with your actions will manifest itself in your life.
Your Existence
Take time to re-evaluate your daily existence. Not what you do but the why you do it. If your motives are not emotionally driven toward helping someone or something greater than yourself, your life will begin to feel empty and meaningless.Your Real Challenge
Those who train or workout for fitness, health benefits, fun, or to compete in any sport or athletic activity, realize that you don't do it necessarily to be perfect, look like an Adonis, or be a world champion! The value is in learning about commitment, courage, discipline, endurance, dedication, and determination—face adversity; endure pain, loss, failure; and still not give up.
To conquer yourself, your fears, and overcome the real challenges you face, stay on course. Realize and appreciate the true meaning and value of your efforts.
