The Remedy Within

This book was written to reach people diagnosed with cancer with the hope that they might find different ways to help themselves. I was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, which had spread to one of my adrenal glands, as well as a small tumour on the top of my bowel. I describe experiences that have helped me and I am keen to share these experiences with others. When you receive a diagnosis of cancer it is shocking news that you don’t want to hear and you will think ‘This cannot be happening to me’ ‘I have so much to do yet’, and ‘Am I dreaming?’ It takes a while to come to terms with this and to pick yourself up and get ready to rescue yourself. My story outlines the holistic steps I have taken to nurture myself. I hope that they will help you get stronger in mind, body and spirit. I happen to be put in a chemo room the other day while I got bloods taken and I was so shocked at the people coming and going from all walks of life, my heart went out to them. We need a miracle. I trust in spirit and this is my journey and I hope you will join me. Through this emotional journey you can learn a lot about yourself and you will go deep within asking ‘Why me?’ The first step I took was to change my mind set, to believe, stop thinking negatively, block any bad thoughts and to see myself as well and radiant. “Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.” Buddha We will go through this healing journey together are you ready ………….. let us get started.
