A Blink of an Eye

God...What do you really think that is like, God that is? Do you really think it’s some guy up in the sky? I wish you could look through my eyes at this moment, because I am just a man, and yet, I have felt things that move deeper than what can be said in words. I am just a man. God is unspeakable. It refers to an energy that is so unbelievably powerful It forms the infinite universes of light and life in the blink of an eye. Every photon that has ever been given oscillation within the expanding movement of space, every atom that has been displaced from the perfect unity of space and time with its rotational velocity, every star that has ever formed due to the aggregation of those particles, or energy fields, and every galaxy that has ever spun its way throughout the evolution of but a single universe, is but a blink of an eye upon the face of Infinity.

I look up at the stars and I think, “God…what are you? What is it to understand that being, that energy, that essence, that infinitely amazing thing that is and forms all things?” And a flash enters my mind, like a simple picture of light in motion. And as I recall the flash of an image that just came to me it is as if there were a smile in the midst of that light, and innumerable flowers blossoming and falling from a skyless vision. There is a beauty that can never be described. There is pure Love. God is one power of a Love that is infinitely intelligent, infinitely alive, infinitely happy, and infinitely meaningful. And that is what we are all a part of, that is our truest identity.

We may feel that there are so many mistakes and horrible things in life, but it could all be over in the blink of an eye. Such a thought is aimed upon releasing the baggage and freeing the heart and mind to welcome life. We exist. We are here…my God; every good thing and every bad thing falls away equally in the face of complete extinction, and there the pure foundation is felt under foot. That foundation is the pure wonder at existence; at the mysterious miracle it is to be alive. In the blink of an eye it will all be gone, it could end at any moment, and it could change for the great better just as quickly.
