I’ll start this chapter with a quote from Wayne Dyer. “If you knew who walked beside you at all times you could never experience fear again. Re God”
Your ego is your worst enemy. Do what you have to do to rid yourself of your ego. Ego is always waiting and ready to jump up and stop your success.Your ego keeps you in a constant state of fear, worry, anxiety and stress. When you are afraid you move away from love, the all powerful. In short, your ego maintains your separate status from God and allows you to be terrified of your own divinity - your own divine being. There is no place that God id not so turn your ego and fear over to the Almighty, rid yourself of all fear and ego.
My fearful thoughts invited me to stay immobilized and ultimately weaken my spirit and made me sick to the point of near death on two occasions. Let go of all fear for it weakens you, makes you suffer in many ways and may cause you to die for nothing before your time. Or worse yet you get so down and out that you come to believe your only choice is suicide. How bad is that?
So often we don’t even realize our fears, for we have buried them so deep down. So many fears that are buried within go back to your childhood. Dig deep, dig hard, discover what is there that you neither want or need and pluck it out. The sooner the better. I now refer you to get a book that helped me and I strongly suggest that you buy it. It is called Jump…and your life will appear: an inch-by-inch guide to making a major change by Nancy Levin.
Don’t convince yourself that it can’t be done or it’s easier said than done. Your mind is yours to control. Whatever you choose and accept must develop in your experience for it is attracted to you by an irresistible law, a law which isn’t working some of the time, or just occasionally, or most of the time. This law works every second of every minute of all the time there is. Make it work for you.
It is the nature of any unit built from the Universal Mind to attract unto itself those thought things that answer the mental vibrations or thought it exceeds. Whatever has developed in our experience, I have learned, has not been brought to us by luck or fate or coincidence, but simply a manifestation of our thought and belief.
Ralph Waldo Emmerson wrote:
“And though thy knees were never bent
To heaven thy hourly prayers were sent
And weather for good or ill
Are registered and answered still”
Take a moment to ponder Emmerson’s quote. I found it very profound. Basically it says that whatever we think about we bring about. When I was a young mother I had signs on all of my mirrors that said “Every day in every way I am better and better and better”. My life has proven to be so.
You are what you think; your life is a product of your thought and belief; and nothing in the world can change this fact. To alter your life the only single course open to you is to alter your thinking. It’s like when I took Jim to Mexico and got so sick. I look back now and realize how perfect I wanted the holiday to be for us. I was so afraid things wouldn’t turn out happy, Look what happened. Just a few days into the holiday I got severely sick and almost died. Now tell me that my thinking was not responsible for what happened. Of coarse it was. I made myself sick through worry.
One only needs to ask and have faith. Every time you get sick you have fallen victim to a specific ailment. This specific ailment is the result of some obstruction in your mind; some false idea or unknown or known fear. You cannot get rid of the result from flawed thinking or fear without first getting rid of the cause of your original thoughts.
I coudent stop the abuse in my own life until I looked at when I first believed in and gave power to those who abused me.
Cause is always rooted in the mind and then experienced bodily; ailments are the result. When we heal the body by mental and spiritual treatment, we do not treat the body, “we treat the mind”. An infinite law is at work in the universe; it is the law of ideas becoming things. We must watch our thinking always. Avoid negativity to enter your mind. Hold tightly to integrity and positivity.
Fear tarnishes the looking glass of life. Sex is life expressing love. You must surrender your heart and works to love. Rejected love makes you ill. Few of us will dispute the power of love, but most of us have great difficulty bringing it into all aspects of our lives. Absolute love will vanquish fear and hate. Old remembrances of old coping mechanisms within our subconscious serve to automatically direct us to certain circumstances or things, or people with belligerence, aggression, cruelty, fear, intimidation, or a thousand different responses that backfire on us daily.
The Greatest pitfall to all of us is fear, for it proceeds phantom-like out of our darker thoughts, has no substance, and thus difficult to deal with. It hovers its distorted shadows in our dreams and in our waking consciousness. Its many demons lurk around each corner of our lives. It paralyzes, immobilizes and bleeds off the stream of life like a monstrous parasite.
It is fear that vanquishes our goals before we have even set out to obtain them. It is fear that squeezes our arteries, restricts our circulation, makes us loose energy, dulls the brightness of the day and casts negativity over all the events of our lives. Fear is but the negative use of faith.
Only you can rid yourself of the deviousness of fear and negativity. Pluck it out of yourself now. Throw fear away. Its not yours if you choose not to have it. I beg you to heed my words before you embark on any form of mind healing. Replace fear with love by loving everything around you, by giving gratitude for all the good in your life. Release and replace all fear with love. Then peace will be yours.
Our soul exists in space and is inside us. All part of the Universal Subconscious Mind.
