Our Compassionate Kosmos

Innumerable Evolutions

One of the greatest discoveries or revelations of contemporary science is the unimaginable immensity of the Universe; its stunning endlessness and beginninglessness. There seems to be no point of darkness in the cosmos. Wherever appears dark, focus a powerful enough telescope and innumerable stars and galaxies appear! Even the so-called “black holes” seem to be neither “black” nor “holes.” Theories and descriptions abound. An astounding corollary of this realization (that “Infinity” is not just a mental abstraction or construct, but our actual existential “Home”) is that evolution, as we understand it so far (stellar, geological, biological, cultural and spiritual), is happening simultaneously everywhere across the cosmos.

What this means, in terms of consciousness, is that there are, at this very moment, countless planets or worlds unfolding or manifesting the whole spectrum of consciousness, from simple to self-consciousness, to Kosmic Consciousness and beyond. This implies the existence of very advanced civilizations and evolved Beings all across the galaxies. Advanced far beyond what we call “technology,” and evolved in significantly different “bodies.”

Another implication is that these “Elder Brothers and Sisters” take care, or take “under their wings” those planets or beings in earlier developmental stages, just as adults look after children. So, not only myriad cosmic civilizations coexist within an immense rainbow of consciousness, but there is a profound intercommunication going on. It may be that our concept of “communication” tends to be very limited and confined to a kind of linear rationality. There is also a telepathic, soul to soul, heart to heart communication happening. When it is a profound connection between beings we call it “communion.”

The existence of other worlds and higher Beings seems to be the common ground of all religions on Earth. We are just beginning to wake up and realize the cosmic meaning of Diversity as an incredible, awesome and glorious variety, plurality and multiplicity of worlds, domains, dimensions, Kingdoms and Beings!
