Things to Do with Crystals Find a dish that you really like because of its colors or shape to keep your crystals in so that you can look at them often and pick them up easily. Place the dish where you can see it every day. Make a collection of Rainbow Crystals red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo (dark blue), and violet. You can stick them on a cupboard or fridge. Make a collection of as many different shapes of crystals as you can find such as hearts, eggs, balls, animals, pyramids, obelisks, wands. Find as many different stones of the same shape as you can. You might like to collect only crystal balls, pyramids, angels or natural crystals. You could collect just one type of crystal such as only rose quartz or only amethyst. Look for different shapes or sizes of whichever crystal you choose. Rose Quartz Colour: Pink Where found: Brazil, Madagascar, USA Rose Quartz is called the Love crystal. It gives us love and also helps us to attract more loving people into our life. Try holding two Rose Quartz crystals at the one time. One is for receiving love and the other is so we can give out love to others to help them be happier. Rose Quartz is very soothing when we are upset or when our feelings have been hurt. Holding some Rose Quartz on your heart helps you feel better. If you want to tell someone you love them you can give them a piece of Rose Quartz. You can often find Rose Quartz hearts.

About the Book
Rainbow Crystals for Children is a book for young children of the 21st century with a message that crystals are not just pretty things to be chosen and then forgotten about. They are much more than this.
The book is meant to be used by young children (sometimes assisted by an adult) from the time when they first display a reaction to or an interest in crystals to when they are older and can read and follow suggestions and activities for themselves.
There are brief explanations of how crystal energies and our own interact. Children are asked to look at why and how they decide a particular crystal is the one for them.The information and ideas offered are meant to lead the child to develop their inquiring and creative nature. Included are games to play to develop memory and perceptual skills. Short meditations are included to bring healing, develop visualization, and focus concentration.
Some brief explanations of how crystals began to form millions of years ago and the present day usage of quartz in modern technology make a link between the old and new.
A crystal guide with pictures and information about thirty crystals is included. The crystals chosen are ones reasonably easy to find and suitable for children to work with.
Children will find that Rainbow Crystals for Children will provide many hours of interest, learning, and fun.
