About the Author

Yvette Silva is the founder, executive producer, writer, and creator of the Houston-based Meditation & Prayer YDS program. She has been a meditation practitioner since 1978 and became certified to teach in 2003. She has written the program as a direct result of her own trials and tribulations from an early age. She lived two lives, one of privilege and one of dark secrets she kept away from those who could help. She taught herself it doesn't matter what you have been through; you can find peace and hope through meditation and prayer with God.
