About the Author

Kayla Wholey is a clinical and industrial/organizational psychologist who has worked with all kinds of individuals, groups, and organizations from around the world for the last twenty years.

Kayla has worked for Humanity’s Team—a spiritual organization dedicated to declaring and recreating oneness on Earth—as a spiritual leader for many years. During these years, she has formed functional teams worldwide and facilitated inner work and community support groups. On an academic level, Kayla carries out psychological research on the ideas of oneness, awareness, insight, and many other topics in spiritual and positive psychology. She has been playing active roles in global spirituality project groups and has recently co-edited and authored books as part of spiritual research projects.

Ten years ago, Kayla has developed a personal development platform called the Group of Change and created the website groupofchange.com, where she blogs.

Kayla is originally from Anatolia, Turkey, the land of Rumi and Yunus Emre, who were Sufi poets who became well-known around the world. Kayla is now married with a son, and she is currently living both in Maitland, Florida and Istanbul, Turkey, going back and forth between the two continents.
