Thomas could see the earth and wonder what it would be like to be a human being. Even though outer space had lots to offer, he could see the beauty and magic of planet earth. When the sun shone, Thomas glimpsed mighty rivers, mountains and trees. He was amazed at how the rainbow stretched form heaven towards earth. He noticed the colors melting into the blue of the sky but couldn’t see what happened when the rainbow met the earth………
The Great Sky Spirit announced Thomas’ arrival on earth to all the other sky spirits. They celebrated by spreading a golden glow throughout the cosmos. The black velvety sky sparkled with stardust. Shooting stars collided to create spectacular fireworks and bright new stars were born. Colorful planets spun their orbit rings to make them glow brightly. Galaxies spiraled into a mighty whirlpool. The whole planetary neighborhood clustered to join in the celestial dance. Many of the dark spaces filled with magical light………….......
A worried sky spirit interrupted:
“What if Thomas loses his way?”
The Great Sky Spirit answered:
“Thomas may feel he has lost his way from time to time but there will always be special people to help him on his journey and remind him of his path. He will know to look to the stars whenever he feels afraid and call out to the Great Sky Spirit. The universe will care for him.”
“Will he be able to return?” A puzzled sky spirit asked.
“Thomas will live out his life on earth. He will be brave and strong in living his dream. He will remember who he is and why he was born.”

About the Book
Beyond the Rainbow is the story of a spirit called Thomas who lives in a galaxy of the cosmos. One day, when following the rainbow to see where it leads from heaven to earth, Thomas hears a strange voice calling his name, saying he was needed on planet earth. Feeling a little confused and afraid, Thomas returns to his home amongst the stars and planets, to seek advice from the Great Sky Spirit. He explains to Thomas that it must have been the voice of the Great Earth Mother who wants him to bring his special gift to planet earth. The story follows the journey and experiences of Thomas - as he prepares to leave his familiar home as a sky spirit, be born into a family on earth and become a human being. Although the destination is unknown, Thomas had been curious about what it would be like to live on planet earth. This was his chance, so he needed to be brave if he was going to find out. After all, he was on an important mission – to fulfill his unique purpose of caring for the earth. After a long journey, Thomas realizes he’s made the right decision when he arrives safely in the arms of his loving proud parents. Thomas goes to sleep, dreaming of future adventures in his new colorful world…beyond the rainbow.

About the Author
WEB: Being an adventurer and free spirit, Glenda decided to take a year off to travel -providing a perfect opportunity to explore other environments and cultures. Glenda created paintings of people and places from each country she visited and wrote poems from insights she gained about life on her journey. On returning, she started a business called Applied Vision to conduct workshops and provide coaching, in the area of personal and professional development. Her experience of working with people revealed that many had not yet discovered their unique purpose, in order to live a fulfilled life. Glenda believes that everyone can learn to how to become a creator of their own life. Years earlier, observing her own children grow, Glenda realized that creativity was innate. This insight encouraged her to explore her own creativity and create from the heart which children do so naturally. In doing so, Glenda discovered gifts of teaching, art and writing. When her 2 oldest grandsons were born, she created special paintings for their bedroom walls. The paintings were to welcome the boys to a wonderful world, where they could learn about their environment while having fun. For the birth of her third grandson, Glenda was inspired to write and illustrate a children's story with an important message: that the world has a special place for children to share their unique gifts. Glenda’s desire is that everyone’s gifts are encouraged and developed in a way that serves the planet. Her love of children, art and writing are combined to create a book with this inspirational message. Glenda lives with her partner in a beautiful valley on the Coffs Coast of NSW, Australia, nestled between the ocean and the mountains. She is passionate about the natural environment, learning about the world and encouraging others to create their dreams.
