dancing light
gold glitter
illuminating white
sunny rays
clouds ignite
tangerine skies
fill my eyes
with wonder
Free
cool water
flowing deep
bound to nothing
as you take a leap
holding your breath
you plunge underneath
in the stillness you emerge reborn
Peace
the water and you becoming one
floating weightless towards the sun
your thoughts drift to none
silence blissfully becomes golden
Phoenix
the fire that burns within
a flame once burned by sin
ashes blow away
as you emerge again
to know loss is to love
and through it i rise
