A Spiritual Blueprint for Humanity

We do not yet have the kind of keen, delicate, and purified sensitivity that would allow us to directly perceive spiritual truth. We can only perceive through the information sent from our coarse sensory organs designed for, and thus limited to this material world which manifest as bodily movements. In Latihan, we also experience bodily movements, but they are nothing to do with this world and are the reflection of spiritual truths. So, they occur independently of the will and change over time. People may laugh without feeling happy or shed tears without feeling sad. Often, they mistake these bodily movements for the substance of Latihan. This is a misunderstanding. Behind the worldly actions of the physical body is the spiritual substance of the soul experiencing contact with the Great Life Force. Laughing without feeling happy is no doubt an expression of the soul’s joy in the spiritual world; behind the weeping may be the soul’s repentance of their sins against God, in the reality of the next world.
