About the Book

This book introduces the reader to Joey, a 9 ½ year old boy, who lives with his Mum and Dad in the small town of Marion Ponds. Joey lives in his dad’s Grandpa’s house, that his family moved into, before Joey was born. At the back of the house is an old barn and on the side of the barn there is an old blue tractor. It has a huge secret - it is really a time machine, that can take Joey and his dad back to the days of the dinosaurs! This is the first book in a series of books about Joey’s life in Marion Ponds and the adventures he has with his dad, on the blue tractor/time machine.

About the Author

I have always believed that children should be able to grow up with fun in their lives. But that isn’t always possible, so the opportunity to use their imagination, through reading, is a truly precious gift. And to spend time reading a story to a child, is an experience that both parents and grandparents, will treasure, as much as the child does. I live in a small country town, with my husband and my family all live within 10 minutes of me. So many of the “family experiences” that Joey has, are based on those experiences. And I think that when you read these stories, you might find that there is a little bit of Joey in each of us.
