Birth represents the transition of a soul from heaven to earth and death represents the transition of a soul from earth to heaven. Birth is a happy event for everyone receiving the new soul on earth and death is a sad event for those who associated with the soul while it was on earth. In heaven, the return of a soul from earth is a happy event because it signifies that the soul has completed its program on earth which was designed to move its soul closer to God. Grief from the death of a loved one can be intense and sometimes debilitating. Angels always surround those who are grieving and who are trying to work through their suffering. The angels work to open saddened hearts to God’s healing love. However, many times hearts are hardened against God because of the transition of a loved one, be it family or friend. In Go to the Tree, angels explain that they understand how death affects all those associated with the departed soul and how important it is to grieve as well the importance of processing through grief to return to one’s own path in life. The message the angels bring to this book is to understand and accept that death is a part of life, that grieving is a natural and necessary process, and that healing is a return to walking on your own path to God.

Experiencing the death of someone very close to you can be devastating. Whether the death is sudden or gradual, feelings of aloneness and fear immediately enter one’s heart. Sometimes the grief can be overwhelming and crippling. Moving through this type of grief and returning to living one’s own life again may take months to years. There are some who never move through their grief and never return to their own life. In Go to the Tree, the angels address many different types of transitions to heaven that occur on earth. In so doing, the angels attempt to capture the attention of all those who are grieving who believe their grief is unique to them alone. The angels show that all grief on earth is meaningful to them as they spread their wings around all who are grieving and bring them God’s healing love. This book is a unique approach intended to help with the grieving process. It is personal and direct. It is meant not only for those who are personally hurting with grief, but also to give everyone a clearer understanding and perspective of death. It is also a peak into the ‘crossing over’ process. Go to the Tree is similar to Theresa’s third book, Whispering Messages, in that it should be read slowly and thoughtfully. Read only one or two events at a time and then reflect on the passage and the following letters contained in each. Each message in Go to the Tree is unique to the individual reading them. This is Theresa’s fifth book of working with the angels. The Enlightened Series, Hear Their Voices, Receive Their Messages and See Their Miracles, is a trilogy of short stories narrated by the angels that encompasses life’s many hardships and the choices people make to try to make their way through life.
About the Author
Theresa Marie Orecchia was widowed at the age of twenty-five having lost her husband, Ed Northup, in the Vietnam war. She worked to reclaim her life by turning to the angels for support and guidance. She graduated from the University of Delaware, West Virginia University, and Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy. She is a registered pharmacist in the states of Colorado, Delaware, Florida, and Illinois. Theresa retired from the pharmacy profession in 2013 and presently resides in Wilmington, Delaware and Jensen Beach, Florida with her husband, Michael.
