Nicole was standing outside getting some fresh air and trying to shore up her wall of emotional protection. She had come very close to lifting and placing her lips on his just to see how it felt. She heard the door open. At first, she thought it was Jack looking for her. She turned around to go back but ran into a wall of muscle just as a pair of hands grabbed her arms to keep her from falling back. When she looked up, she was face-to-face with the same man she was just thinking about kissing. “So, what was that all about back there with Jack?” Dean knew that he was jealous. He wanted to make sure that he wasn’t moving into some other man’s way. “What you mean, Jack and me? Are you kidding? Jack is more like an uncle to me. Besides I don’t think you have any right to ask anything about me, or who I see.” She lifted her chin at him. Before she knew what was happening, Dean pulled her up, wrapped an arm around her, and took her mouth as he ran the tip of his tongue over her lips wanting her to open. When that didn’t work, he reached down to grab her ass and squeezed. Nicole shrieked and that was all Dean need to push into her mouth. Nicole was so shocked at first, but soon her body remembered the feel of him, and he was always a great kisser. She melted against him. Dean turned and walked them backward so that he had her pinned against the building. She hooked a leg over his hip and pulled him closer as Dean reached under her shirt to be able to feel skin on skin. As he pushed his hips into her core, she could feel how hard he was. Some place deep inside of her liked the fact that it was because of her.

About the Author
ANNE BECK is the mother of three children. She is a grandmother of two grandchildren. She refers to herself as a hopeless romantic. She lives in Salem, Oregon. She enjoys the great Pacific Northwest hiking and trips to the beach. By taking life problems and finding ways to cope with them and still remain true to one’s self. She believes we all have an inner strength that when tested can only show you just how strong you can be. She wants the heroines and heroes to have flaws just like the rest of us.
