About the Book

I decided it wasn’t too late to let our Dad know how much I loved him, even though he passed away several years ago.

As my brother and I looked through our family photos, my thoughts drifted back to a time we spent in a sleepy fishing village. We had different perspectives on the same small events, and I felt compelled to see our father through the eyes of his son.

Inspired by our journey, my brother and I created this book so you can do the same for your father and yourself: create your own book filled with the things you loved as a child, and reflect on how they enriched your life.

Our journey found deep understanding.

About the Author

After moving back to the beachside suburb in Sydney, Australia, where she was born and raised, Lexa published her first book in memory of her mother who had dementia.

With a sense of freedom exploring places of her childhood, it led her to write a book for her father with her brother. Their bond grew stronger and they decided to plan another journey together - visiting the towns of their ancestors in England, Ireland, Scotland and Germany in 2015.
