About the Author
Mee-Gaik Lim is a marriage and family therapist, professor, professional speaker, and clinical supervisor. She has been teaching in the field for over thirty years and has an active clinical practice. Her YouTube channel, Authentic Expressions, focuses on helping individuals construct healthy, functional scripts to enjoy attunement, contentment, and fulfillment in life. The channel focuses on challenging individuals to embrace self-honoring and self-respecting practices to build authentic interactions. She received her doctorate in marriage and family therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1991. Dr. Mee-Gaik Lim has authored numerous articles in professional journals, and she has presented internationally and nationally on topics related to strengthening family relationships.
