Raking the Seaweed

This story is about my journey that has given me freedom from bondage to self or any other mind altering substance that takes me farther away from being present to His precious gift of life. We live in a broken world and our relationship with God can give us the strength, inspiration, and desire to live an abundant life and to strive for excellence. This involves helping each other to navigate through life and establish loving relationships with coworkers, friends, pets and our spouse if we are lucky enough to find that wonderful person to share our life. It’s important to understand the distinction between “having what you want vs wanting what you have”. Most of us have what we need, and if we know this deep down, we can diminish the wanting we all pursue and appreciate what is right in front of us without having to change it. There really is only a journey in life and not a destination. We are children of God, and if we take the time to know Him, we can unpack the plan He has for us. He lets us see it and provides the strength and perseverance to achieve it. The outcome is beyond all my expectations or hopes. The gift of knowing God isn’t all unicorns and rainbows in a field of daisies. It’s real life, full of obstacles. Obstacles God often puts in our way to utilize patience and humility to see the truth and not a story we make up about it. Life is directed by God. God is in charge & not in control because He gave us free will. Have the courage to trust God and the results will be beyond your wildest dreams. God recognizes those who love him. He is a powerful ally and prayer works. Please take the time to humble yourself and get to know Him.
