Sandy shares her journey of growing up in an alcoholic family and struggling with anxiety and co-dependency, which kept her a prisoner from living her own life, to learning how to embrace self-care and bring more energy, peace and joy into her life. She educates on the many health issues that stress can manifest and shares easy steps to manage daily stressors, so you too can experience more energy and learn how to embrace self-care and bring more peace and joy into your life. Sandy also includes affirmations, an energy check list, and a few of her favorite easy recipes. Sandy wanted this book to be a simple “go-to” guide as she knows from personal experience that when you are feeling overwhelmed, you crave simplicity. You will discover that taking small, healthy steps will have a huge impact on how you feel and your overall wellbeing.
About the Author
Sandy Sonier is a Holistic Wellness Master Coach, earning her certification in 2018. She is a member of the International Association of Wellness Professionals. As a holistic wellness coach, she works with her clients to get to the root cause of their wellness challenge and together create a plan to reach their wellness goals. Trust, compassion and intuitive guidance are the essence of her coaching expertise. Sandy’s passion is to support, educate and empower mentally and physically exhausted women to overcome day-to-day stress, so they can stop the endless cycle of going to bed exhausted and waking up depleted, so they can regain their zest for life. She volunteers at a local Rehab facility to bring hope to friends and family of alcoholics by sharing her story. Sandy loves animals and being in nature. She loves the simple things in life, like a beautiful sunset or sitting on her porch, watching the birds. Family is very important to her, and her world revolved around them, until she discovered that she didn’t know where they ended and she began (co-dependency). Today, she can embrace self-care and love her family without becoming enmeshed. Sandy offers one-on-one coaching programs and small interactive group programs. She provides local in-person workshops on various health topics and writes a monthly e-newsletter with wellness tips. Sandy was featured in a fitness magazine titled, Healthy & Fit in 2017.
