A year had passed and Eve looked around and sighed. Maggie wagged her tail as a sign she was ready to go and waited patiently at the front door. As Eve approached and looked affectionately at the companion who’d helped her through these last few years. She paused, as always, at the hand painted bowl kept by the door and gently touched the feathers inside- each a poignant sign and as she meditated on them, they reminded her of their significance in her life. Gingerly, she touched the last one and it was like a sharp pin jolting her back to the present and she pulled her hand away, feeling its bite. Staring at the blood on her finger, Eve realised how much her life had changed from those memories that had haunted her.

About the Book
Eve Featherstone has been bullied all her life by a brother she despises. Then as an adult, discovers they also exist in her working life. It isn’t until she is forced to make some life changing decisions that she discovers who she is. Life then takes a few twists and turns as she travels, eventually finding peace.
About the Author
Cate loves all things creative and advocates for a life without boundaries. It was through listening to Wayne Dyer that she learned sit and listen to 'her own thoughts', where she started writing poetry. Alongside her husband, they raised a menagerie where their children taught her to be 'still in the moment'. Semi retired, she now lives on the coast and continues to find peace in the small community.
