About the Book
This is a very fun children's book teaching marine biology. The color illustrations draw children into a learning experience. Each watercolor painting is done by the author to specifically bring out the specific topic. Children fall in love with Rocko and his friends.
About the Author
Lynn's love of children and nature come right through the story and pictures presented in Rocko. Lynn is an accomplished artist. She works in bronze, doing character studies; and in stone, where the subject matter is more abstract. Lynn paints in ceramic mediums and watercolor. She is also a naturalists, studying all forms of nature: from pond life as seen with a microscope, to birdwatching and all forms of observation and exploration. Lynn is a Mother of 4 and Grandmother of 14, and a former teacher. She says, "I want to open kids eyes to see how beautiful God's creation is, and how much fun it can be".
