Less hurry more haste. This is one of my favorite sayings as it was one I heard my Nan say when she was flustered because my Granddad was waiting for her while she was getting ready to go out. A blind man would be glad to see it. After putting on her makeup my Mum would ask it was OK. I would tell her it was great and she would reply with this saying. It’s nice to be important but more important to be nice. This is my favorite and one I quote to my granddaughters just to keep them grounded nice young people.

About the Author
Allana Worthington lives with her daughter and three granddaughters in a small community south of Perth, Australia. All three of her grandchildren are on the Autism Spectrum, so life can be challenging, but it is important to Allana that her family pursues their dreams.
