Purpose: My child, you may not know me but I am the one they call ancestor. It is I that started the seeds to get you here. I have been watching you as I did the seeds before you. As I watch you grow, there are times I can't believe you came from my seed. The language from you mouth, the way you wear your clothes, how you carry yourself. I am in shock!!! Your anscestors have done so much so that life in 2012, could be easier that we had it. Yet I see you have not learned the lessons taught. I know you are tired of hearing how we died for voting, learning to read, and being free. If we didn't struggle for our rights, you wouldn't have the privileges that you have today. And oh my child you do have privileges. I wish I had the privilege of attending college, working where I want, living where I want, walking through the front door. Oh my, the list is so long, yet you take so much for granted. All that is asked of you is to remember your purpose, and to whom you belong.

This beautiful person minored in special eduation and majored in psychology. She has always advocated for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilitiies.
