Abundance and prosperity can take many forms. What we generally think of first is money, or objects that we desire. These are not bad things in contrary; these are an important part of our lives. There is a misconception among some religious and spiritual groups alike that money is not good. Money is nether bad, nor good. It is a form of currency that sometimes can be used for positive or negative reasons, just like our mind power. Other forms of abundance are all around us. These can come in the forms of ideas, opportunities, creative endeavors, etc, as I touched on in the gratitude section, and which is worth repeating now.
Acknowledging that you are grateful for what you already have tells the universe that you are ready for more. It allows doors to open that would otherwise be closed. Without a grateful heart we are unable to receive more of what we want and the things that are truly aligned with ourselves.

This knowledge brings with it a great capacity for healing and change, as it goes beyond altering the composition of metal and instead focuses on using thought and belief to change one’s very mind-set. So the lead (negative thoughts) can be changed into gold (positive thoughts) through the process of Mental Alchemy. To do so is to change the nature and quality of the very energy around you.

Tabby graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration on Clinical Mental Health, and a Bachelor’s of Social Work at Capital University. She also has Reiki Advanced Degrees in the Usui System of Natural Healing and a Certificate in Spirituality, Health & Healing.
