In a galaxy far, far away was a planet with two Suns…. It was a lush, exotic planet called AROLISCIOUS. On Aroliscious lived delicate creatures with silver wings. They were quiet industrious and very, very serious. All, except one. A naughty little girl. Blixie Bloop by name! She wanted to have fun, play in the open land. Fly above the clouds. One day Blixie Bloop was summoned before the king. He said,” Blixie, you have been having TOO much fun! We all must work. I’m sending you to the Island of Shally-kibookel!” Blixie didn’t know it, but her adventure was just beginning.

About the Book
THE WINGS of BLIXIE BLOOP was written in 1990 for the author’s friend. Blixie could be any one of us who have tried to fit a mold without realizing we already have joy and special gifts that make us unique and precious to the world. Blixie’s adventures come out of her courage to be herself. She takes you with her on her journey of self-discovery and makes unusual friends along the way.
About the Author
Kathleen Kelly has been on a philosophical journey for many years. She comes from an Irish family of story tellers in North Queensland, Australia and has been writing since childhood. This and her travels have given her a unique perspective on the world. She lives in Canberra with her partner and three “fur” children.
