Dear Reader,
It is my privilege to be able to tell you my story. I have not had a suicidal thought in seven years. By now, I am confident they are well and truly gone. If I were still suicidal, I would not be able to have the capacity to talk about it and offer you the guidance and advice I can give to work through overcoming it. If I were still actively bipolar, I would probably go manic befor my book was complete. But both are history for me.
My once tumultuous life is now filled with joy. I am balanced and consistent and kow the choppy waters are behind me. I want to share my joy with you, and no one could be more pleased about this than I am. And if I can do it, so can you. I’ll show you how I did it. Who knew that the day would come when I would e doing something that I truly love? Think for yourself; what is it that you truly love? What do you need to make it happen?
Together, I would like us to journey through my life, my memories, my trials and tribulations. The day as come that I am moving forward with a healthy mind. Some of these memories were painful to let go. They were the triggers that put me into a downward spiral.

About the Book
The author takes you from the marvelous memories of her early childhood to the realities that she faced in adulthood. For fifty-one years, from the ages of eleven to sixty-two, she fought waves of suicidal thinking to come out on top.
While six months pregnant with her first child, she was hospitalized for something that kept her awake for seven consecutive days and nights. A diagnosis of bipolar disorder (mania) followed. Finally, after forty-two years, she triumphantly overcame her psychosis. She tells you her inside story and the tools she discovered to conquer all her challenges. Her life of joy and purpose is what she wants to share with you today.
About the Author
Born March 5, 1945 in the Netherlands to Dr. and Mrs. H.L. van Vierssen Trip, Tilly Dunn, the youngest of six children, migrated to Canada in 1951, six years later. In 1956, at the age of just eleven, she started fifty-one years of suicidal thinking in waves after her first failed suicide attempt. In 1970, insult was added to injury with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
Here in this book you’ll discover the exact set of tools and strategies Tilly used to finally break free from the grip of antipsychotic medications after taking them faithfully for forty-two years. Since January 2012, she has happily moved forward without these medications. Her suicidal thinking stopped abruptly in November 2007 after successful laser spine surgery. Be open to using her tools toward recovery. Her wish is that you benefit from her experience.
