I lost myself somewhere in the lie,
so for that purpose I hired a spy.
He started a search first throughout my mind,
but I was not there. I was deeper inside.
Than he did a body search all inside and out,
but he couldn't find me there. There was not a doubt.
I blamed myself for everything
like I have committed a crime...
So I have issued a warrant
on my ego in prime.
I put myself in prison of a questioning mind,
waiting for a trial of any kind.
I trembled before the verdict,
stumbled upon a fear.
But everything was forgiven
since the judge did not appear.
I let myself free. Oh, what confusion!
All this prison was absolute illusion.

About the Author
Amneris Mulabecirovic is a poet at heart, a doctor by profession. Her medical background as a dentist who actively practices dentistry in Los Angeles, California, is a clear example of the metamorphosis of a left-brainer into a right-brainer. The synthesis of her life experience living on three different continents, her education, and the cascade of personal metaphysical experiences gave birth to this poetry book.
