Many years back, I had picked up a friend from the airport. As I was still getting familiar with the route, I asked him to hold the street directory, just in case I needed to check the route. As we got home, he jokingly said – perhaps we can store away ...the street directory!
Few days back, some of us were having a snack, sitting in clear outdoors – under a little shaded area. A kookaburra came flying in, snatched the chip from one of the pals and just flew off. Perhaps it had its own...the street directory!
It’s human nature to come to terms with, understand, comprehend and possibly float easily with the Nature. It’s a delight to see the fine work of different seekers – poets, painters, scholars, artists, reformers... it’s an ongoing effort to understand...what’s mine!
Reflecting on an experience... good or not so good... comforting or threatening ... uplifting or humiliating... helps me decipher. As the pendulum swings to and fro...seasons change... still something stays steady...what’s mine!
It’s human nature to search for the infinite in most dimensions. Be it our will, skill or effort, a certain notional ideal can be the driving force. This infinite reservoir can inspire us; make us perspire, while taking its own course for … Poetic justice.
During a recent trip to New Delhi, I was looking for a title at a bookstore. Literally, out of the blue, happened to see a little book – Letters to Sam by Daniel Gottlier – unrelated to what I was looking for. It’s a pleasure to see the way things shape up…probably pointing to … Poetic justice.
Once you put pen to paper, a certain creative energy manifests itself, sometimes. While it is not in your control, its flow does influence ...the Story!
"Be the change that you want to see" These words from M K Gandhi have inspired many. Having learnt a bit about his journey, his interactions and his experiments, I am getting a little bit about ...the Story!
Some four decades back, while walking by a construction site, I saw 5 little mice, frantically trying to dig a hole each in the ground, right under the nose of a cat! Few minutes later, one just gave up and was picked up by the cat. After seeing several events, narrations: deeply inspiring, sometimes scary and sad, or just sweet and gentle, I can see all of them trickling slowly somewhere into ...the Story!

There are several experiences that gradually start looking like pearls, held together by a string that is practically... the untouchable!
There are several developments, which can be classed as successes. On the other hand, there are failures, despite all the good will and effort. In the mix of things, it becomes imperative to make peace with... the untouchable!
Based on our nature, nurture, and circumstances... we gradually figure out our formula to keep afloat... the Mantra!
For many years I have been having a glass of warm water with honey and lemon in the morning, as suggested by many for good health. Generally I am more comfortable in outdoors than indoors. Going for a walk stimulates me at many levels. For me it’s all part of... the Mantra!
Few days back, I was grating radish. The grater was not the best. It occurred to me that a slightly different design would do better. On a casual visit to the shops that afternoon, I happened to come across a grater, just of the right design! Several events of such precision, often point me to... the cosmic dance!
Our world is held together by friction. Every part of our journey from womb to tomb, every step we take, every garment we put on, every note we write... rely on friction! This necessary evil called friction that also gives plenty of headache and heartache, is an integral part of... the cosmic dance!
This book is an effort to touch... the untouchable, decipher... the Mantra to help us all participate in the... the cosmic dance!
