Human beings are open systems. We are influenced by each other’s presence and interactions. We embody and we interact. We exude and we absorb. We attract and we repel. Sometimes, we even match each other’s energies. That exchange of energy vibrations can impact us in positive, negative, helpful, hurtful, affirming and even elevating ways.
The internal-ascension personal growth framework proposed in this book depicts seven vibration levels in each of our four quads (Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul). When elevated and integrated, we feel whole because we are aligned and operating at our energetic best. The seven levels in each quad attempt to reflect some of the energy levels we experience and express over the course of life’s journey.
And let’s be fundamentally clear about something. Whether the energy level is as low as ground-zero, or as high as an earthly 7th-heaven, each and every one of us has the capacity to embody and exude the full range-- from toxic to high vibrations (from level 0 to level 7) within each and every quad. For example, each of us is as capable of Evil (Level-0) as we are capable of Love & Joy (Level-7) in the Heart quad. It is a matter of self-awareness, choices, values, habits, and an ongoing commitment to resilience and personal growth.
The irony and the beauty are that we come to this earth whole, as infants, as children of God, probably already at Level-7 in each of our quads.
Then, life happens.
And the journey of life can knock us down a few pegs. It can bounce us around with its ups and downs. It can even cause us to hit rock-bottom. Things can start to fall apart, if we carry too much heaviness and clutter in our bodies, our minds, and our hearts. And, over time, we can start to leave our whole authentic selves behind, accepting many roles in a lifetime of drama, while creating and compounding each other’s trauma. But with resilience and Grace, before we leave this earthly space, we can learn to release and find peace, rising again and again, reclaiming our wholeness and then, striving to reclaim our Level-7.
This book offers you tools and strategies for elevating your vibrations, recognizing your superpowers, identifying your life's purpose, and answering your calling-- all while helping you to heal some of the impacts of collective trauma by leveraging some of the lessons learned along the way.

About the Author
Nesha Jenkins-Tate, MS, PhD, is an author, philosopher, and collective trauma and personal growth consultant. A mom, an “auntie”, and a Boomer, she is particularly committed to work that heals the impacts of collective trauma on Millennials and Generation Z, who are poised to create an awesome future that helps us to heal our fractured planet. Dr. Jenkins-Tate completed her undergraduate studies in Journalism at the Howard University Cathy Hughes School of Communications; a Master of Science from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School; and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Howard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, with major concentration in Cultural Studies and minor concentration in Social Psychology.
