About the Book

Part memoir, part inspirational and part spiritual exploration, “Coming Home: Be the Hero of Your Own Story (regardless of previous chaos, choices and chapters)” is songwriter Karen Novy’s personal story, including the life-changing breast cancer diagnosis that rocked her world and woke her up to pursuing her life’s passion and purpose. “Coming Home” is about the journey we are all on, to return to ourselves, our truth and living the life we love.

About the Author

Karen Novy is a songwriter, performer, vocal empowerment coach, author and speaker. She believes deeply in the healing power of music, has seen it touch many hearts and lives, and is dedicated to being an unstoppable force for love and healing in the world. In the past year, Karen Novy wrote and launched her one-woman show, “A Hero’s Journey: Coming Home,” an inspirational performance piece that is one part storytelling, one part songtelling. She also facilitates group vocal empowerment workshops, incorporating elements of sound healing and writing to help participants express and empower their voice. This is her first book.
