About the Author

Nancy Spejcher, former Adaptive Schools Training Associate with Thinking Collaborative, is a retired teacher and administrator with more than 30 experience teaching and administrating general and special education. She is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who lives in San Diego. Her favorite activities include visiting family and friends, travel adventures, sailing, hiking, reading, writing, and spending time on the beach. Adrew Peck, Illustrator, graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in art and spent 20 years as a freelance graphic artist, cd cover designer, game master and teacher. Andrew passed away in 2020 and is survived by his wife and son.
