I Drove a Red Car to a Better Me

"I can't tell you anything, I don't know what you want with me, I have no idea who you are, where we are, or what is happening. Can you please let me go, please"! I had been abducted by terrorists, and held in a small dinghy room. I lay on a bed,while the two men interrogating me hovered over with intent, intent to torture, I suspected, intent to murder, I feared! God only knows why, or how, but they had me, and whatever they wanted from me, or imagined that I knew, well, all I could do was to tell them over and over again that I couldn't help them, I didn't know anything?I couldn't move, my body restrained, lashed to the crude bed, they were unimpressed by my refusal to comply, and their actions became more menacing. "Please, please, let me go, let me go"? I tugged at the tube in my nose, trying to free myself from the discomfort it caused me, only to be told nicely by the nurse that I must leave it in, she then moistened my lips with some balm, and I drifted off to sleep again, thankfully this time the terrorists had left, they probably jumped into the head of some other poor soul in the ward. What a strange dream to have, but one that I would ponder for some time! The list of perplexing issues arising as a result of the accident grew daily, I may have to keep note of them! I spent the 1st of April in intensive care, oblivious to the world, and thankfully the pain.
