The Light Within

Chapter 1 In the Beginning: The Birth of God and Creation Why we are here: A brief overview It may seem hard to imagine, but before there was God there was nothing—just a vast, endless nothingness. But over time, the nothingness became something. It came to be aware of itself as an existence, and it grew until it became a consciousness. The consciousness became aware that it was everything, all that ever was, and thus it became the seed of God. The consciousness began to dream, and then as the consciousness grew further, it became aware that it could create all it ever wanted. And thus the consciousness became God. God thus created the heavenly realms, a beautiful place where he created the angels, too, who were an extension of himself. And love was born. All became love and light. There was light and colour everywhere. God was bursting with love and light. And because God was all that ever was, he created all that ever will be—an infinity of light. Then God saw that a new consciousness was growing a consciousness, which was the opposite of his own consciousness—a darker, denser consciousness that had no light. God separated himself from this consciousness so that darkness would not enter the heavenly realms. But as God knew that all would eventually become light, he sent light down into the dark, negative consciousness, so that it, too, would become light and join him in the heavenly realms. This became the creation of earth and our universe. The two energies combined (light and dark, or positivity and negativity) became our creation. God continually sent light down to the negativity so that the negativity would evolve towards the light. This evolution of darkness to light saw the evolution of humanity. Humanity evolved as individual beings to contain both the light (God’s creation) and the negativity. The negativity has less strength when divided into many beings. Thus, we are both God’s creation and an evolution towards the light. We are God’s precious children. We have become human ‘beings’. We are being, or experiencing, our time on earth as ‘lives’, as embodiments of light and dark. And the beauty of it is that, at the end of this journey, we are God’s beloved children experiencing life and then returning to him. Those who do bad things are not fully conscious of the light. They are not ‘there’ yet. But forgiveness and God’s love can put them on the right path; they can be rid of the negativity within them. They are children of God, experiencing the negativity, giving it ‘life’, and then affording it the opportunity to move into the light. We all have a soul light within us. This is our direct connection with God, and every single one of us has it. Those with a lot of negativity within them may become blocked from this light, and so may do bad things, but God will always forgive them for this. He sees the light within them, and he knows that eventually they will return to him. Therefore, every single child of God—and that is every single person on the planet—has the potential to return to the God consciousness and become part of him again, no matter who they have been or what they have done. The negative consciousness can also be seen within the animal kingdom as savagery within nature. With animals, the development of Mother Nature has combined the negative and positive consciousness to become a balanced need for survival. Mother Nature is a beautiful consciousness, which has developed to oversee the balance between the positive and negative. Savagery or negativity has combined with positivity to become a survival instinct. Within humanity, we have evolved further forward to separate savagery from the need for survival. Negativity, or savagery, is gently being dispelled, and thus we are gently breaking away from Mother Nature. We are at a crucial point in our evolution. Savagery is no longer necessary for humanity’s survival, and while it occurs, it is rarer. It is the negative consciousness popping up again, having one last go at becoming a full consciousness, trying to rid itself of the light. But God has other plans. We will all become light eventually.
